Welcome! I am a licensed independent social worker with a passion for helping women in all stages of life. I believe that every person is the expert of their own life and I strive to help each individual identify and harness their unique strengths. I also believe in each individual’s ability to know, accept and change what is in their control to allow for a life worth living authentically. In our sessions, I will provide a safe space to process, problem-solve and learn new skills and techniques to cope with the stressors of this ever-changing world.

My areas of focus include women’s issues, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and college students/emerging young adults. I have additional training and knowledge with both survivors of domestic violence, and those with a history of eating disorders and/or body image concerns.

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI) in a client-focused environment to guide my practice. As a therapist, I like to focus less on labels and diagnoses and more on how symptoms impact your daily functioning, as well as your changes and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort between a client and therapist, which means finding the right fit is the first step.
